Choose a listed rival's MCP if

  • You already keep battlecards and win-loss in Klue, or sales enablement intel in Crayon, and you want that system in Claude or ChatGPT.
  • You need Similarweb's digital data and you have the API access its MCP requires, or you want Visualping's website change alerts in a ChatGPT app.
  • You want Contify, PeerPanda, or Trendtrack in the clients named on their public pages. AlphaSense is the fit for research documents, and that MCP is beta, enabled by the account team.

Choose Spiderlook if

  • You want a daily scan of the website, social profiles, and Meta and Google ads you turn on for each rival, with the posts, ads, and pages kept as evidence.
  • Each client or brand has its own project, and you want that project in Claude Desktop, the claude.ai connector, or ChatGPT.

Use it in Claude and ChatGPT

These are the published Spiderlook steps. Sign-in is OAuth. Do not paste a bearer token.

Claude Desktop

  1. Add a remote MCP server named spiderlook.
  2. Set the URL to https://api.spiderlook.com/mcp.
  3. Or run claude mcp add --transport http spiderlook https://api.spiderlook.com/mcp.
  4. When Claude asks you to sign in, approve access in Spiderlook. Do not paste a bearer token.

claude.ai connector

  1. Open Claude on the web and go to Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Add a custom connector named Spiderlook and paste the MCP endpoint.
  3. The prefilled connector link opens that modal with the name and URL filled in.
  4. Choose Connect. Claude starts OAuth and opens Spiderlook so you can sign in and approve.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, add a custom connector or app that accepts a remote MCP server URL.
  2. Name it Spiderlook and set the server URL to https://api.spiderlook.com/mcp.
  3. Create the connector. ChatGPT starts OAuth and opens Spiderlook so you can sign in and approve.
  4. Do not paste a bearer token. Spiderlook does not deep-link ChatGPT, because ChatGPT does not provide a connector install link.

Open the claude.ai connector with Spiderlook prefilled. Setup steps.

Example prompts

  1. List the projects and rivals I can access.
  2. Show the newest Meta ads for this rival.
  3. What changed since the last daily scan, and which posts, ads, or pages are the evidence?
