How Spiderlook scans work
Scans collect and analyze selected sources on a daily schedule after activation — plus optional Refresh when you cannot wait.
What status states will I see?
- Awaiting activation / Scan pending — plan or activation not ready yet
- Scanning — analysis in progress
- Ready — evidence and insights available
What happens on the first scan?
The first successful scan fills Activity, seeds Signals, and unlocks richer Home and rival tabs. Charging follows your plan once scanning is active for the organization.
How does the usage meter relate?
Daily scans, Refresh, and Ask Spidey draw from the same Spiderlook AI and scan allowance. The sidebar meter shows remaining usage. When exhausted, Refresh and Ask Spidey pause until renewal or a top-up.
