Pause or include in daily scans
Spiderlook runs scheduled daily analysis. On the rival Sources page, use the Daily scans switch to include or pause that schedule; existing intel stays either way.
Where is the Daily scans switch?
Open the rival → Sources. You will see a Daily scans control (under the Monitoring heading in the Sources panel). Turn it on to include the rival’s eligible sources in the next daily schedule; turn it off to pause automatic pulls without deleting collected activity.
Manual Refresh can still run when you need a newer read — the app estimates about 30 minutes for a full rescan of that rival’s sources — subject to usage in the shared AI and scan pool. The Rivals list may show a tracking badge when scheduled analysis is paused.
When should you pause daily scans?
Pause noisy secondary rivals, seasonal competitors, or sources that rarely change. Keep the schedule on for Your brand and primary Rivals you brief each week. First-scan must finish before the daily schedule runs for a new rival.
What if the schedule looks wrong?
If a rival never appears in the next daily run, confirm Daily scans is on, the source rows are connected, and the organization plan is activated. If status stays pending, wait for scanning → ready on the first run, or use Refresh once when you cannot wait and usage remains.
