Your brand is the self competitor in a project. Spiderlook compares rivals against you — never as anonymous totals across the set.
Why does Your brand matter?
Ask Spidey is gated until Your brand exists. Home KPIs and Compare use per-rival averages versus you. Benchmarks are optional peers you elevate for reference — they are not Your brand.
Add Your brand early in onboarding so Signals and Ask Spidey unlock as soon as the first scan finishes.
What does Scan pending mean?
After you add Your brand, status may show Scan pending or awaiting activation until the plan activates scanning. That is expected — not a failed crawl.
Once activation completes, status moves to scanning and then ready. Use Refresh only when you need a newer read and usage remains.
