Spiderlook product hierarchy
Learn the nesting model so Home, Rivals, and Connect your AI stay predictable as you add clients and sources.
What are the layers?
- Organization — Agency or Brand account; team, billing, timezone.
- Project — one competitive landscape (often one client).
- Rivals — Rival, Your brand, or Benchmark.
- Sources — social, ads, website connected per rival.
- Scans — daily analysis plus optional Refresh.
- Activity — publishes and changes collected from sources.
- Signals — conclusions Spiderlook surfaces on Home and rival Overview.
How does the app shell map to it?
Inside a project the sidebar is Home, Rivals, Activity (with Compare), Ask Spidey, and Reports — plus freshness, Refresh, usage, and settings. MCP clients authorize one project at a time through Connect your AI.
Agencies usually create one Project per client so MCP scope and weekly reports never mix. Brands usually keep one primary landscape for the category.
