Running competitor research for every agency client
In short: Give every client its own project with its own rivals and sources, let daily scans collect the activity, and use signals, comparisons and evidence to build client updates.
1. One project per client landscape
Set up a separate project for each client, brand or market. Each project keeps its own rivals, sources, history and intelligence, so client landscapes never mix.
2. Choose sources per rival
Every rival is different. Pick the social profiles, ad libraries and web pages that matter for each one instead of collecting everything by default.
3. Let the daily scan do the collecting
A daily scan collects new activity for every rival. When a client needs fresher data before a meeting, trigger an extra refresh.
4. Turn changes into client-ready updates
- Start from signals: the meaningful shifts since the previous scan.
- Use comparisons to show where the client stands against each rival.
- Link every point to its evidence, so the client can see the source.
