Reading Signals on Home
A Signal is a conclusion Spiderlook surfaces from scanned activity — the start of investigation, not the end.
What is a Signal?
Signals highlight meaningful changes or patterns across rivals after daily scans. Open a Signal to jump toward the rival and evidence that supports it.
Signals are not raw post counts. They are the conclusions Spiderlook thinks deserve attention. Treat each one as a prompt to verify, not as a finished client deliverable.
How should you act on Signals?
- Triage open Signals on Home after daily scans.
- Verify with Activity or the rival Ads, Social, or Website sections.
- Ask Spidey for a grounded summary when you need narrative.
- Update a battlecard when positioning changed.
- Dismiss or clear Signals you already handled so Home stays actionable.
Why are Signals empty?
Empty Signals usually mean first-scan is still pending, sources are thin, or Daily scans is off for primary rivals. Fix sources and wait for ready before expecting a busy Home.
