How does social discovery work?
After you provide a website, Spiderlook may suggest social profiles. Confirm ownership; use Not sure or manual edit when a suggestion looks wrong.
Discovery failures are expected for locked-down sites. Manual URL entry is fully supported and does not block daily scans.
When should I enter social URLs manually?
Paste the profile URL for each network you care about. Enable daily scans on profiles that should feed Activity and Signals. Use Focus chips to prioritize themes.
After the next daily scan, open the rival Social tab to confirm followers, posting, and top posts look right. If a profile 404s, fix the URL on Sources rather than waiting for another failed crawl.
