Create a project
A Project is one competitive landscape: rivals, sources, scans, activity, signals, and reports for that set.
What is a Project?
Spiderlook nests data as Organization → Project → Rivals → Sources → Scans → Activity → Signals. Agencies often name projects after clients. Brands may use category or market names.
MCP connections authorize a single project at a time, so keep each client or brand landscape separate when privacy matters.
How does the project switcher work?
The app shell remembers the last project per organization. Use the switcher in the sidebar to move between landscapes without losing organization settings such as timezone, team, or billing.
How do I create or manage projects?
New projects appear in onboarding (including new-project mode) and under Settings → Projects. Move rivals between projects from Settings when a landscape needs restructuring — do it carefully so Activity and reports stay coherent.
