Battlecards that update when your competitors change
Spiderlook writes a battlecard for each rival from what it has scanned: their ads, social posts and website. When they change something material, you get a suggested update to accept or dismiss.

What they promise. Who they target.
Where your approach stands apart.
Their homepage now leads with a new audience. Update the positioning section?
How does Spiderlook create a battlecard?
Open a rival and go to the Battlecard tab. Spiderlook generates the card from the evidence it has scanned for that rival across ads, social and website. You don't start from a blank template, and every point traces back to something the rival actually published.
How do battlecards stay up to date?
Most battlecards go stale within weeks. Spiderlook keeps yours current:
- 01
Daily scans pick up a material change, like a new pricing page, a new ad angle or a repositioned homepage.
- 02
Spiderlook proposes a suggested update to the card.
- 03
You accept or dismiss each suggestion. There's no full rewrite.
- 04
Pending suggestions show on Home until someone reviews them, so nothing piles up silently.
Who approves what sales sees?
You do. A battlecard reaches sales only after someone approves it. Approved cards appear in Reports, and you can download each one as a PDF for call prep.
What is a Spiderlook battlecard built from?
Everything Spiderlook has scanned for that rival:
- Their Meta and Google ads
- Their posts on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X
- Changes on their website and watched pages, such as pricing and product pages
Because the card comes from the rival's own published material, every point traces back to evidence you can open.
How do I prep a sales call with a battlecard?
- 01Open the rival's battlecard and approve any pending suggestions.
- 02Download the PDF.
- 03Check the Ads tab for new creatives since your last call.
- 04Ask Spidey for three talk tracks grounded in evidence.
- 05Skim Activity for last-minute posts or page changes.
Can I use battlecards in my AI tools?
Yes. Through MCP, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Notion, PostHog and any other client that supports MCP can read a battlecard, generate one, review a suggested update or approve a card, all inside the same project.
